Michael G. Skennion
Vice President
Mr. Skennion has more than two decades of government contract law experience in all areas of contract administration,formation and dispute resolution. Prior to joining Sharp Minds, Mr. Skennion served as a Government Contract Law attorney with the US Army's Judge Advocate General Corps where he managed multi-disciplinary teams litigating a full spectrum of claims arising from construction, service, manufacturing and information technology contracts. Defending several multi-million dollar protests at the GAO, Mr. Skennion also developed and implemented a highly effective Alternate Disputes Resolution (ADR) program for the expeditious resolution of claims through the use of summary trials and settlement judges.
Mr. Skennion's extensive legal experience enables him to offer Sharp Minds' clients informed guidance about claims and litigation avoidance as well as contract administration matters, including the design and implementation of compliance procedures for statutes, clauses, terms and conditions.
Mr. Skennion possesses a LL.M., from The Judge Advocate Generals School, and a J.D. from St. John's University, New York. He has been admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the Court of Claims, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and all Texas, New York, and New Jersey state courts. |
