Kristin Buczek
Ms. Buczek is the founder and President of Sharp Minds, Inc. Established in 1998 Sharp Minds is a Government contracting consulting firm specializing in GSA Schedules, Contract Administration and Strategic Marketing services. Ms. Buczek has over 20 years of experience in the Federal Market arena from serving as a DOD Federal Contracting Official for Office of the Secretary of Defense on multi-million dollar procurements to a Director of Contracts for Houston Associates, Inc – a Raytheon Company.
As President of Sharp Minds she has a proven track record of directly increasing revenues and profit margins for well over 200 plus corporations based on the implementation of successful acquisition and marketing strategies as well as the establishment of procedures and guidance for effective contract management and compliance related issues. The innovative and leading edge thinking of SharpMinds have included such acquisition strategies as expanding GSA schedules into the NATO arena and strategizing with Office of Management and Budge (OMB) and GSA in the creation of the first awarded Government-Wide strategic sourcing agreement known as SmartBUY.
In addition, Ms. Buczek’s has designed numerous strategic marketing plans for Federal Sales teams based on the facilitation of a focused and targeted mindset for key opportunities, evaluation and analysis of partner and channel strategies, customization of marketing communications as well as leveraging key decision makers and congress. Her vision, knowledge and know how combined with real world tactics provides companies with an edge in achieving their strategic goals of penetrating or increasing their Federal Market share as well as building a targeted Federal Marketing Program for long-term growth.
Ms. Buczek holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Towson State University with a DoD Acquisition education from the U.S. Army Logistics Management College. She is a member of the National Contract Management Association, Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) and The Greater Washington Board of Trade. |
